Hi, I'm Shazia.

I believe every business owner deserves to understand their numbers and feel confident in the decisions they make with them. Too many people build something great and still dread their books, guess at their cash flow, or wait until tax season to find out how the year really went.

I've spent my time on the operations side of an accounting firm, running bookkeeping teams and rebuilding the workflows behind them. I've seen what changes when an owner finally has clean, current numbers. They stop guessing and start planning.

Tech Accounting is how I bring that to you: one person who knows your business, books you can trust every month, and tools that give you back your time. Wherever your books are today, even if they're a mess, we start there and build something you're proud of.

Common questions

Do you prepare taxes?

No. I focus on bookkeeping. I keep your books clean and reconciled all year, so when tax season comes your CPA gets organized, accurate numbers and can file without the back-and-forth.

Do I need to use QuickBooks Online?

Yes. All client books live in QuickBooks Online. If you're on another system or still using spreadsheets, I can help you move over.

I'm months behind. Can you still help?

Yes, that's what cleanup and catch-up is for. I'll review where your books stand and give you a quote and timeline before any work starts. Once you're current, we can switch to monthly bookkeeping.

How do I give you access to my books?

You invite me as your accountant inside QuickBooks Online. It takes about two minutes, and you never have to share your password. I'll walk you through it during setup.

What do I need to send you each month?

Usually very little. Your bank and card accounts feed into QuickBooks automatically. I'll reach out if a transaction needs your input or a receipt is missing.
